Who we are:
Lena Aahlby, Director and Founder
Lena has more than 25 years experience in developing, leading and coordinating global campaigns aimed at creating public awareness and driving change, primarily within the not-for-profit sector.
Lena’s expertise is in the areas of:
- political campaigning and advocacy that integrate public activities and targeted communications strategies with efforts behind the scenes to influence policy
- senior management, strategic planning, project management and evaluation, staff development including coaching and mentoring, conflict resolution
Lena has worked on the global, national and local level across a broad range of subjects from nature conservation and natural resource management to strengthening community groups, health, and poverty reduction programs. She has lived and worked in several countries including Sweden, the US, Australia and the Netherlands.
StrategyforChange has access to a large network of specialists including experts in political lobbying, public activities and non-violent direct action, communications, social and traditional media, project management and more, ensuring that your specific needs can be met.
